Berg is a village in the municipality of Sømna in Nordland county, Norway. The village lies about 8 kilometres north of Vik, just south of the municipal border with Brønnøy. The village of Trælnes lies just north of Berg. The 0.71-square-kilometre village has a population (2011) of 505, including the 22 people in the 0.4-square-kilometre area just over the border in Brønnøy. The population density of the village area is 711 inhabitants per square kilometre . The village is home to some agricultural industries as well as a concrete factory.
