Danny Wray Randall, 66, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, May 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Smithton Community Center in Smithton, MO.
Danny was born September 15, 1951, in Sedalia, son of Ralph Bennett Randall and Georgetta Lee (Homan) Randall. On April 11, 1981, in Florence, MO, Dan married to Sheryl Ann Wilson, formerly of Buffalo Center, and sister to Joe, Don & Roy Wilson.
Dan served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and worked at Payless Cashways and Duke Manufacturing before retiring. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed playing Pitch there with friends. For many years, Dan got together with friends on a regular basis to play Risk. He enjoyed going to auctions and collecting coins. He was a loving, supportive father and coached his kids in various sports. He loved going to his grandkids' ballgames and exploring the woods with them. His hobbies included reading, watching the Chiefs and Royals, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his infectious laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Randall, of the home; three children, Sara Miesner (Justin), of Sedalia, MO, Jenny Eastep, of Smithton, MO, and Roy Wilson Jr., of Sedalia, MO; three grandchildren, Addison Miesner, Silas Miesner and Landon Eastep; a brother, Ralph Randall, of Sedalia, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry Randall and Bobby Randall.
