ADDENDUM TO GOODE FAMILY BOOK:
William Goode removed from Virginia to Kentucky and settled in Casey County. He was one of the earliest Methodists in the state. He was a member of the Kentucky legislature 1815 - 16 - 19. He moved to Ohio ( Galen Goode's copy of "Virginia Cousins" has a hand written notation changing Ohio to Illinois.) and was a member of the state legislature from Greene County. He subsequently lived in Missouri. Before 1831 he had settled in Scottville, Macoupin County, Illinois. He died in 1844 in Palmyra, Illinois.
