Deceased Name: Anson H. Pease Jr.
Anson H. Pease Jr. left us on June 2, 2016—to get to where he's going… Survived by one brother Bernard (Betty) Pease. Born Dec. 11, 1931, to Anson H. Pease Sr. and Mattie Hall.Preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Walt, Sylvester "Cubby," Jimmy and Danny; three sisters, Genevieve, Dorothy and Helen; his wife of many years Betty Frickle and one son David Caldwell "Noodles."
Anson was an upstanding citizen and an important part of society. He and his brothers worked as bricklayers/masonries, from union workers to company owners; he did a lot of work in town and surrounding cities/reservations. Anson had lots of friends from all walks of life. He also served as a combat veteran in the Armed Forces (Army) and served the Korean War. He loved to fish and hunt, he wasan excellent cook. He liked to tease and had a good sense of humor.
He leaves behind four children, Dale (Pat), Shelly (Ace), Karry (Wayne), Trina (Tom); long-time partner, Helen; grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a great-great-grandfather and was also the first fifth generation on his side from the eldest grandchild Dawn (Thomas) Broken Rope/Big Lake her "Papa" and that name stuck. He is loved by many and will be missed by all. We will keep him in our hearts forever. He was a good man. We would like to thank a close friend "Nancy" and thank you to RiverStone Hospice for the care and understanding of his wishes.
Visitation will start at 9 a.m., June 6. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., June 7, at Smith's Downtown Chapel, 925 S. 27th St. Interment will follow at Laurel Cemetery. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting smithfuneralchapels.com.
