Kerry L. Gaffney, 80, of Sonoma, FL., formerly of Williamstown, passed away January 9th in Florida.
Born in Williamstown, November 28, 1933, a son of the late John and Margaret Flynn Gaffney. He was a graduate of the former Williamstown High School where he excelled in football and baseball.
He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
Kerry was a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown. He was a member of the Williamstown American Legion.
He retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot. He was also retired from the Air National Guard.
He was predeaced by three brothers, John "Sub", Thomas and Michael "Mick"; two sisters, Agnes Lebo and Margaret Klock.
He is survived by a daughter, Stacey Gaffney; two grandchildren. Nieces and nephews; many friends in the Williamstown area.
A graveside service wtih military honors will be held Friday, July 18th at 11:00 am from Sacred Heart Cemetery, Williamstown with Rev. C. Anthony Miller officiating.
