NOTE 1: Valentine3 Orner (Johannes2, Ulrich1 Urner), born 21 January 1743(9) in North Coventry, Chester, Pennsylvania; died 15 April 1818 aged 75 years, 02 months, 26 days(9) in Pikeland, Chester, Pennsylvania; married probably by 1766 to ANNA ELISABETHA LUDWIG who was born 1748(9) and died 1808(9) in Pikeland. He was a taxpayer in Pikeland beginning in 1766 (recorded as Valentine Urner in 1767, 1779, 1780, 1781 and 1785). He is found listed as Valentine Urner on a Sheriff?s Return listing all Pikeland landowners in 1789(A). On 23 June 1800, he was witness to the will of Lewis Voight of Vincent Township (Chester Will #4824) and signed his name as Valentine Urner. They were members of Zion Lutheran Church in Pikeland (at Spring City). On 27 November 1771, he pledged four Pounds toward the building of a new St. Peter?s Lutheran Church in Pikeland(A). He was on the muster roll of Captain Eyric?s Company (from Pikeland), 2nd Battalion, Chester County Militia on 12 August 1780 (PA 5:5:534)(D). When the new St. Peter?s church was chartered on 29 September 1789, he was selected as one of the Elders(A). In 1811, he was one of the Trustees charged with building the new St. Peter?s Lutheran and Reformed Church in Pikeland(A) (at Chester Springs). Maria Orner, born early 1770s; married about 1798 in Pikeland to Peter Klinger who was born probably about 1778 in Pikeland. [He was the fourth of seven children of Johannes Klinger and his second wife Margritha ______. Johannes is probably the Johannes Klinger from Erbach, Wuerttemberg, Germany, who arrived at Philadelphia 02 September 1749 on the ship Albany, sailing from Rotterdam. He moved to Yellow Springs (now Chester Springs) in Pikeland; joined Zion?s Lutheran Church in Pikeland by 1764(7); and subscribed toward the building of the new Saint Peter?s Lutheran Church in Pikeland in 1771(A). He owned a grist mill.] Peter?s parents both died on 24 October 1784; and Jonathan Wells was appointed as his guardian. Peter appears on the Pikeland Tax List in 1796 as a Freeman (unmarried); in 1799 and 1800 as a married tenant, employed as a mason. Justus was the son of Justus Lindemann (born 02 August 1690 in Dachrieden, Thuringia, came to America on the Loyal Judith in 1740, died 16 November 1769 in North Coventry) and Anna Elizabetha Imsweiler.] Johannes was a weaver. When the weaving company he started with his brother was unsuccessful, he bought a farm near Black Horse in Uwchlan Township and moved there.
