MERIDIAN — Services for James Edward Kittrell will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.Mr. Kittrell, 89, of Meridian, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Specialty Hospital. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 30 years of service.Survivors include his brothers, E.B. “Buddy” Kittrell of Apple Valley, Calif., Larry E. Kittrell of Marina, Calif.; sisters, Frances Kidd and Evelyn Tillman, both of Meridian; a very special friend and companion, Ruby Nelson of Meridian; and numerous nieces and nephews.The family requests memorials be made to Oak Grove U.M.C.
