Sam was the youngest of ten children. He moved to Kingsville in 1915 and had attended East Ward School and Kingsville High School. He wasemployed with the Kingsville Fire Department until 1942. He had moved to Corpus Christi to work at the Corpus Christi Naval Station. In 1945 he moved back toKingsville where he was employed as Water Superintendent for the City of Kingsville. In January of 1951 he became Ranch Foreman for the McGill Brothers, of the then Santa Rosa Ranch, in Kenedy County. In 1953 the ranch was divided and Sam Noble was made Ranch Manager of the Claude McGill part of the Santa Rosa Ranch. The Ranch was then named La Paloma Ranch until he retired at the age of 65.He then move to Sarita where he served as Kenedy County Commissioner for 12 years. He then moved to La Parra Ranch where he was employed by the late Mrs. John G. Kenedy and the late Tom East. He moved to Kingsville in 1988 due to bad health. Sam Noble was a member of the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Kingsville. Hewas also Honorary member of the Kingsville Fire Department, Past Master of theChamberlain Masonic Lodge in Kingsville, past Commissioner for Kenedy County,and a city park in Sarita was named in honor of Mr. Noble's service to the county.
