Due West Telescope, 4/18/1862 (see Ware, ARP): "Died at her residence in York District, SC Miss Nancy Cathcart, on 28th of March, aged 40 years and 11 days... [since] 1845 a member of the A.R. Church of Tirzah, York District, SC"Miller: Nancy, oldest daughter of William and Jane Cathcart, never married but stayed at home taking care of her mother who was an invalid for may years.
From W.J. Miller, nephew of Nancy and son of Mary Cathcart and Joseph Miller:
"I remember Aunt Nancy and Uncle James Well. They were both good and kind. Nancy lived until 1862 and died of typhoid fever."
Father: William Cathcart , Sr. b: 1793 in Rockhill, York Co, SC (settled, maybe not b.)
Mother: Jane Black b: 21 DEC 1795 in (parents came from PA before Rev War)
