Coy E. Dick, 80, Puncheon Spur Road passed away Tuesday September 10, 2002 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born October 30, 1921 in Eubank, KY. a son of the late James Monroe Dick and Arlie Mae (Parks) Dick. He was a WWII US Army Veteran, a machine tool inspector and was of the Church of God Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Mercer) Dick whom he married on July 6, 2002; four daughters, Marilyn (and Donald) Matthews, Amelia, OH., Bertha (and Joseph) Matthews, Cincinnati, OH., Denise Louis, Mason, OH. and Thelma Mercer Black, Eubank, KY.; one sister, Emma Mae Padgett McGuffey, Stanford, KY.; two brothers, Donald Boone Dick. Lebanon, KY. and James Mark Dick, Somerset, KY.; six grandchildren, Time Kersey, Joe Matthews, Jr., Coy Matthews, Sally Anne Louis, Marsha Matthews Barnes & Demetria Matthews and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Elorise Coker Dick who passed was August 16, 2001.; four brothers, Bill Dick, Earl “Jack” Dick, James and Curtis Dick; four sisters, Dorothy Releford, Cloda Reed, Ruby Murphy and Helen Wall.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday September 13, 2002 at the Chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Brother Johnie Waters officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00 P. M. Thursday September 12, 2002 at the Chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home.
