In a message dated 11 Jan 2002 on the private Gore Researchers Family site Nula Tingleff stated the following:
"B. Otis Prince misread the marriage of William Gore to Nancy Tucker in Duplin County., NC. He read 16 Dec 1779 and I read 16 December 1799 having seen the record some 30 years ago. We will have to look up the book and page no. for documentation".
