Volume 1, page 244, note b (as corrected in volume 14):
By his 1st wife, Isabel, he [Richard Fitz Alan, 10th Earl of Arundel (d.1375/6)] had 2 children. (1) Edmund, who m., before July 1349, Sibyl, da. of William (Montagu), Earl of Salisbury. He was knighted 1352, and was living 1377. He had [daughters] Alice, who m. Sir Leonard Carew (b. 1342, d. 1370) ... and Philippe, who m. Sir Richard Sergeaux (d. 30 Sep. 1393) ... (2) Isabel, who m. John, 4th Lord Strange of Blackmere.
It seems likely that the 10th earl had only a son, Edmund, by his first wife. As noted on page 243, note d, "in none of the documents bearing on the case [the divorce of Richard from Isabel] is there a mention of daughters". Richard and Isabel later claimed that the conception of their son was the result of their having been forced by violence to cohabit.
The wife of John, 4th Lord Strange of Blackmere, was called Mary not Isabel (see Complete Peerage, volume 12, part 1, p.344), and was a daughter of Edmund, the 9th earl, not Richard, the 10th (see further details below).
Edmund, son of Richard, 10th earl of Arundel, had at least three daughters (see further details below):
Elizabeth, who married 1stly Sir Leonard Carew and 2ndly Sir John de Meriet, and d. 1385 or 1386
Philippa, who married 1stly Sir Richard Sergeaux and 2ndly Sir John Cornwall, and d. 1399
Katherine, who married .... Deincourt, and d. before 12 February 1381/2

Richard* 11th Fitz-Alan, Earl of Arundel:
RICHARD FITZALAN ARUNDEL, 4TH EARL OF SURREY, (b.1346 - - d. Sept. 21, 1397, London, England) was one of the chief opponents of Richard II.

He began as a member of the royal council during the minority of Richard II and about 1381 was made one of the young king's governors. About 1385 he joined the baronial party led by the King's uncle. Thomas Woodstock, duke of Gloucester, and in 1386 was a member of the commission appointed to regulate the kingdom and the royal household. As admiral of the west and south he gained a victory over the French and Spanish and their allies off Margate in 1387.

Then came the King's futile attempt to arrest Arundel, which was the signal for the outbreak of hostilities. The Gloucester faction quickly gained the upper hand, and Arundel was again a member of the royal council. After a personal altercation with the King of Westminster in 1394, Arundel underwent a short imprisonment. In 1397 he was involved in a conspiracy against Richard II and was beheaded on Tower Hill.

11th Earl of Arundel

Knight of the Garter 1386, Ninth Earl of Arundel and Tenth Earl of Surrey.  Bearer of the Crown at the Coronation of Richard II on July 16, 1377, was a member of the Council and was made Admiral of the west and south in 1377, and in 1386, of all England.  Together with the Duke of Cloucester he took an active part against the King who, in 1388, was entirely in taht Duke's power.  In 1394 he obtained a pardon for all political offenses, but, July 12, 1397, was seized and tried at Westminster.  He was beheaded in Cheapside September 21, 1397 with all honours forfeited.

He married his second wife, Philippe without Royal license, for which he was fined 500 marks. One of the chief opponents of Richard II.
