A TRUE COPY OF A DEED EXECUTED BY J A GARRISON TO   B N DONAHUE ON
NOVEMBER 8th., 1913.         W R CLACK For value received from B. N.
Donahue in Real Estate in Rhea County Tennessee, deed for which he has
this day executed to me; - I john A. Garrison, one of the children and
heirs at law of R. L. Garrison, deceased, have and do hereby bargain,
sell, transfer and set-over to the said B. N. Donahue, his heirs or
assigns all my interest as one of the heirsaforesaid, in and to all the
funds of said estate of R. L. Garrison deceased, whether the same or any
part thereof be now collected and in the hands of the executor of said
estate, or whether the funds are to be yet collected and distributed
among said heirs; the purpose being to substitute said B. N. Donahue in
my staid to draw from and receipt the executor for all my one eleventh
part or share in said estate.  and W R Clack administrator of said R.
L. Garrison, deceased, is hereby authorized and directed to pay to said
Donahue any and all amounts yet due or to become due to me from said
estate.          This Nov. 8, 1913.

To W. R. Clack, Executor of Estate of R. L. Garrison, deceased. -Dear
Sir: -This is to notify you that I have sold and transferred to Sam
Cottrell the entire interest which I hold, in and to the estate of the
late R. L. Garrison, deceased, and which was transferred to me by John
A. Garrison - and you are hereby authorized and directed to now set
over, and when you are ready to make the final payment, you will pay the
said interest over to the said Sam Cottrell and this instrument of
writing will be your authority for making said payment to him.

PAGE 47 After advertising for thirty days in the Rhea County News; I, as
Executor of R. L. Garrison deceased went upon the premisses and sold at
public outcry, the Real Estate belonging thereto, where W.M. Renfro
became the highest bidder, and with the understanding; same having been
stipulated in the advertisement of the said sale; the land was struck
off to him but 15 days or until July 17, 1913, allowed in which to raise
said bid.  This July 2, 1913.  On July 17, and said bid of $4,125.00 as
originally made, not being raised the sale of said real estate to WM
Renfro for $4,125.00 was confirmed.  Said Renfro associating M. B.Keylon
with him in said purchase and at his request, the closing papers were in
the two names. Cash paid in hand $600.00 Two notes of $1762.50 each to
be due in six and twelve months with interest were executed for balance
of purchase price, said notes signed by M.B. Keylon & W.M. Renfro, and
by J.E. Garrison & J.P. Culvahouse as securities. $3525.00

In compliance with the agreement entered into on the 12th of Feby
1896, between the widow and all of the heirs of R.L. Garrison dec'd
which is in writing and of record of this court, we have after paying
the following claims against the said estate;

    De Republiek der Verenigde Nederlanden werd in 1794-1795 door de Fransen veroverd onder leiding van bevelhebber Charles Pichegru (geholpen door de Nederlander Herman Willem Daendels); de verovering werd vergemakkelijkt door het dichtvriezen van de Waterlinie; Willem V moest op 18 januari 1795 uitwijken naar Engeland (en van daaruit in 1801 naar Duitsland); de patriotten namen de macht over van de aristocratische regenten en proclameerden de Bataafsche Republiek; op 16 mei 1795 werd het Haags Verdrag gesloten, waarmee ons land een vazalstaat werd van Frankrijk; in 3.1796 kwam er een Nationale Vergadering; in 1798 pleegde Daendels een staatsgreep, die de unitarissen aan de macht bracht; er kwam een nieuwe grondwet, die een Vertegenwoordigend Lichaam (met een Eerste en Tweede Kamer) instelde en als regering een Directoire; in 1799 sloeg Daendels bij Castricum een Brits-Russische invasie af; in 1801 kwam er een nieuwe grondwet; bij de Vrede van Amiens (1802) kreeg ons land van Engeland zijn koloniën terug (behalve Ceylon); na de grondwetswijziging van 1805 kwam er een raadpensionaris als eenhoofdig gezag, namelijk Rutger Jan Schimmelpenninck (van 31 oktober 1761 tot 25 maart 1825).
