Schenectady -- Theodore R. Dorn, 77, of 496 Arthur St., died Monday [5 Aug 1991] at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Born in Esperance, Mr. Dorn had lived in Schenectady for most of his life.
He was a machinist for General Electric, retiring in 1977. Mr. Dorn was a private pilot and a flight instructor in the Capital District.
Survivors include a son, Howard T. Dorn of Ballston Lake; four sisters, Inez Lawson of Penney Farms, Florida; Grace Hawes of Delanson; Dorothy Briggs of Cedar Springs, Mich.; and Ann Wagner of Colonie; and five grandchildren.
His remains were donated to the Albany Medical College's Anatomical Gift Program. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Schenectady, 514 McClellan St. Arrangements were by Zwack & Son Funeral Home, Albany.
