FRANCES KRESGE
Frances Mae DuBois Kresge, 73, of Parsons, W. Va., died November 20 at Fork Mountain, W. Va., where she had been residing after losing her home in a flood on November 4.
Born Oct 23, 1912, in Vernon, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Evadna Sickler DuBois. She married Hary Adams Kresge, Sr., in Trucksville on January 22, 1932. Mr. Kresge resides in Parsons, W.Va
Mrs. Kresge attended grade school in Vernon and attended Dallas High School. She moved to West Virginia in 1856 and was a member of Parsons Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her sons, Harold of Broad Brook, Conn.; Harry A. Jr., of Sacramento, Calif.; Richard of Parson, W. Va.; daughters, Mrs. Harper (Peggy) Flanagan of Alexandria, VA; Mrs. Joseph R. (Donna) Shepherd of Parsons, W. Va.; brother, Herman DuBois of Avon, N.Y.; sisters, Mildred Frantz of Tunkhannon; Florence Turner of Noxen; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. ; She was preceded in death by her daughter Joan and her grandson John.
Funeral services were held Nov 24 from the John W. Lohr Funeral Home, Elkins, West Virginia, with W. A. (Drew) Brown officiating. Interment was in Mt. Slate Memorial Gardens, Gilman, W. Va.
