OBIT: Gladys L Reed, 75, of Range Road, Hunlock Creek, passed away Sunday Feb 24, 2008 at her home, surrouned by her loving family who will miss her dearly. Mrs Reed was born in Ruggles on Jan 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Cleveland and Ada Schooley Anderson. ; She was employed as a waitress for the Holiday Inn and Denny's Restaurant, Wilkes Barre. Gladys was a kind, loving and generous ldy who loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She loved to crochet and go fishing with her brother, George. She was also an avid fan oaf the New York Yankees. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Robert, sons Robert, at home, and John and his wife Susan,
Samantha, also at home; daughters, Donna Swire and her husband Fred of Hunlock Creek, and Patty Wolfe and her husband George of Nanticoke; brother George Anderson, at home and sister, Rose Shiner of Boulder Creek, CA; grandchildren, Amybeth, Bobbi Jo , Jared, Andrew, Derrick, Casey, and Jessica; gr-grandchildren, Janee, Michael, Emma, Gileah and Jaslynn. Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs from Curtis L Swanson Funeral Home Inc, corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev Timothy V Cappucci, pastor o f the Community Bible Church of Sweet
Valley, officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Wed.
