DYMOND Hilda Mae Dymond, age 81, of Milford, beloved wife of 62 years to Marvin E. Dymond, died on Sunday, September 9, 2007. Mrs. Dymond was born in Endicott, N.Y., on March 18, 1926 to the late Clifford and Leona Jenkins Cummings and was a lifelong Milford resident and a resident of Naples, Fla. for 20 years. She was retired from U.S. Motors where she was employed for 20 years. Mrs. Dymond was a graduate of Milford High School and was a longtime active member of Mary Taylor United Methodist Church. Survivors, in addition to her husband, Marvin, include a son, Richard Dymond and his wife, Ann of Milford; two daughters, Susan Lapham and Sheree Doggett and her husband, Martyn, all of Milford; a brother, Jack Cummings of Shelton; seven grandchildren, David, Jeffrey, Jason, Greg, Gretchen Mae, Zachary and William; four great-grandchildren, Hope, Nathaniel, Thomas and Reilly; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dymond was predeceased by her son-in-law, Thomas B. Lapham, a brother, Donald Cummings, and a sister, Martha Bronowicz. Friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Interment will be in Kingshighway Cemetery, Milford. Friends may call on Tuesday (TODAY) 4 to 7 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary Taylor United Methodist Church in Mrs. Dymond's memory.
