Percy A. MacMillan, 65, of Noxen passed away Friday March 20, 2009, at home. Born in Noxen, he was the son of the late David and Beulah Patton MacMillan. He was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School, Class of 1961. Mr. MacMillan was employed through the Boilermakers Union Local 13 of Philadelphia, where he was employed for 39 years prior to his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, spending many hours with his beloved beagles. He enjoyed many days at his cabin, which was his home away from home. He was also president of the Kasson Brook Hunting Club. Preceding him in death was his son, James. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, the former Margaret (Tinker) Florek; children, Edward MacMillan and his wife, Denise, Harveys Lake; David Patton and his wife, Jodie, Noxen; Mike Patton and his wife, Tammy, Falls; Lynn MacMillan, Noxen; Lou MacMillan and his companion, Chasity Mackert, Noxen; Percy MacMillan and his wife, Kimberly, Harveys Lake; Joseph MacMillan, Wilkes-Barre; Lori Patton and Carl Allar, Williamstown, N.J.; Chris Zacharias and her husband, George, Harveys Lake; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Wilson and her husband, James, Tuscumbia, Ala.; Joyce Lewis and her husband, Charles, Noxen; Freddi Fetchko and her husband, Michael, Noxen; and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of his company. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Nulton Funeral Home Inc., state Route 309, Beaumont, with the Rev. Leanne Campbell of Noxen United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Orcutt Grove Cemetery, Noxen. Friends may call Monday, 5 to 8 p.m.
