Mrs. W. W. Jones Uses Rifle Following Two Years of Ill Health

Loving watchfulness maintained throughout a period of two years by members of the family of Dr. W. W. Jones of Jordan Valley, when the health of the wife and mother, Mrs. Clara Estella Jones, broke down in 1927, despondency resulting, failed for the moment last Saturday when Mrs. Jones secured a rifle, and placing the muzzle over her heart, discharged it. Death was instantaneous. The body was brought to Caldwell by Undertaker Paul Case last Sunday.
The funeral services Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist church in Caldwell were attended by many neighbors and friends of the family in Jordan Valley. The Rev. E. H. Gillet, pastor of the church, preached the funeral sermon, paying a loving tribute to the memory of the departed one. ; Interment was in the Canyon Hill cemetery.
Deceased was born April 1, 1881, and survived by her husband and five children, namely; Mrs. Eliza Azcuenaga of Boise, Mrs. Pauline Evans of Boise, Miss Hilda Jones of Jordan Valley, Walter Jones of Long Beach, Calif., and Curtis Jones of Jordan Valley.
