1. Margaret, m Thomas Ragland, esq of Liswerney.
2. Agnes m. first John ap John, of Radyr; secondly, to James Yurberville, esq. of Lantwit.
3. Anne, m. first, Thomas ap Jenkin; and secondly, to James Fleming, esq. of Monkton.

Howell Carne, Esq., who married Cecil, a daughter of William Kemis (now spelt Kemeys) of Newport, Esq., and had issue the following children: Richard; Sir Edward, Knight, from whom descended the illustrious branch at Ewenny, and which must come again under our Perusal; William, who is said by some authorities to have married 1st Denis, a daughter of John ap Jenkin, of Brigam; no issue from this marriage. 2ndly he married Jane, a daughter of John Gwyn Thomas, by whom he had Elizabeth and Ursylla, who married Evan ap Thomas ap Howell, descended from Eynon ap Collwyn; and the descendants from this marriage were William, John, and Elizabeth. The next son of Howell Carne was Roger, is said to have married and to have left a family, but they are by no means satisfactorialy traced. Agnes, one of the daughters of the said Howell Carne, married 1st John ap John; 2ndly James Turberville. Ann, another daughter, married 1st Thomas ap Evan David Jenkin; 2ndly James Fleming of Monkton; 3rdly, Mr John ap Thomas. Margaret (or Martha), the youngest daughter of the said Howell Carne, married Thomas Raglan Esq. of Lisworney.
