Name on his baptismal papers (entire document in German) was spelled Karl Bungard Aaron. At some point very young he started spelling his name with a "C" as I have childhood books of his with his name spelled "Carl". Its also interesting that his middle name ended with a "D" on this document. In all other sources I've seen, the name was spelled with a "T" (Bungart). - Scott Aaron

According to daughter Nancy, Carl was originally Methodist, and then converted to Lutheran. This matches up with info from other Aron family relatives that noted that there was no Catholic church in Freeland when the family first arrived, so the family converted to Methodist.
Carl's favorite food was spaghetti. Favorite drink was a Bloody Mary. Favorite color was yellow. He hated potatoes because he had to eat them all the time during the depression. In fact, he often referred to potatoes as "depression food". - Scott Aaron
