Remember's exact date of death is unknown but she died sometime after 12 Sep 1652, the date of her last child's baptism, and before 22 Oct 1656, the date her husband remarried.[2][8]

    Research Notes
    DNA
mtDNA Results W5a2[9] The Mayflower DNA Project lists one matrilineal (all female line) descendant of Mary. It is presumed this individual has taken the full mtDNA test, which tests every single base pair of the mitochondrial DNA.[10] FTDNA has assigned this individual to the W5a2 mtDNA haplogroup. Today this rare lineage is present at trace frequencies in the populations of Norway, Scotland, Ireland, and Germany.[11] Given the locations this haplogroup is found, it is possible Mary's family may have lived near Scrooby and participated in the early Separatist Church at Scrooby Manor.
