   Eleanor Lucy was born about 1407 at Hopton, Suffolk, England.[2] She married Thomas Hopton, Knt., and they had two children (Walter and Elizabeth). Eleanor (Lucy) Hopton died before 1460.[1]

   Father: "Walter Lucy, Knt., of Woodcroft in Luton, Bedfordshire, Chelmscott (in Soulbury) and Cublington, Buckinghamshire, Gaddesden or Lucies (in Little Gaddesden), Hertfordshire, Newington, Kent, Dallington, Northamptonshire, and, in right of his wife, of Richard's Castle, Heredfordshire, Elerky (in Veryan), Cornwall, Astwood Meynell, Astwood Robert, Crowle, Elmbridge, Impney (in Droitwich), Purshall, and Wychbold (in Dodderhill), Worcestershire, etc., Joint Warden of the Welsh Marches, advisor to Edmund Mortimer, Earl of March, son and heir"[1] of Reginald Lucy, Knt., by his first wife, Margaret Mowbray (daughter of John de Mowbray, Knt., and Elizabeth Segrave).[3]
   Mother: Eleanor (Alienor) l'Arcedekne (also l'Arcedeaken), born about 1383, was the "eldest daughter and co-heiress of Warin l'Arcedekne, Knt., of Elerky (in Veryan), Lanihorne (in Ruan Lanihorne) . . . by Elizabeth, daughter of John Talbot, Knt." Walter and Eleanor married "before 7 Feb. 1402 (date of demise)."[1][4]
   Husband
   Eleanor Lucy married Thomas Hopton[1] about 1433 at Hopton, Suffolk, England.[5]
   "Thomas Hopton, Knt., of Staunton-on-Arrow, Herefordshire, and Hopton, Burwarton, Eaton Constantine, Fitz, and Sandford, Shropshire," was "born about 1399 (came of age in or before 1420)", the second son of "Walter Hopton, Knt., of Staunton-on-Arrow, Herefordshire, Hopton, Shropshire, Prilleston, Norfolk, etc., by Joan, daughter and heiress of Thomas le Yonge, Esq."[1]
   Children
   Thomas and Eleanor (Lucy) Hopton had one son and one daughter:
   Walter Hopton, Esq.,[1] d 1461[2]
   Elizabeth Hopton (c1427-1498),[6] married (1) Roger Corbet, (2) John Tiptoft, (3) William Stanley[1]
   Research Notes
   Death location: Death location for Eleanor (Lucy) Hopton not given in Richardson. Lewis shows both her parents as buried in "in the chancel of the Friars Minors, Worcester, Worcestershire."[2]
   Birth location: Removed "Hopton, Suffolk" from datafield for birth location. Her husband was "of Hopton" but cannot find a birth location for her. Of all the locations listed for her father and mother, Hopton or Suffolk are not among them. ~ Noland-165 00:50, 26 December 2017 (EST)
