Hilarii de Cella·Äù (La Celle, outside Poitiers) granted by ·ÄúGaufredus avus et Guillelmus pater mei·Äù by charter dated 3 Mar 1130, subscribed by ·ÄúWillielmi ducis Aquitanorum, Aenordis comitissâ¶, Alienordis filiⶠeorum, Wilelmi Aigres filii eorum·Äù[595].¬â The primary source which confirms her parentage has not so far been identified.¬â It is indicated by the Chronicon Gaufredi Vosiensis which names [her niece] "Sibylla filia Radulfi de Faya, qui fuit frater Guillelmi Vicecomitis de Castelleyrac" when recording her marriage[596], read together with Ralph de Diceto who named Raoul [de Châ¢tellerault] Seigneur de Faye as ·Äúavunculus·Äù of [her daughter] Elâ©onore d·ÄôAquitaine, wife of Henry II King of England[597].¬â m secondly (1136) as her second husband, EMMA de Limoges, widow of BARDON de Cognac, daughter of ADEMAR [III] "le Barbu" Comte de Limoges & his [second wife Marie des Cars].¬â The Chronicon Gaufredi Vosiensis names "aliam filiam [Ademari]·Ä¶Ennoa (seu Emma)" stating that she married "Guillermus Dux, frater Raymundi Antiochiⶠprincipis" after the death of her earlier husband "Bardoni de Coniaco", before being abducted by "Willelmus Sector-ferri, filius Wlgrini Comitis Engolismensis"[598].¬â She married thirdly (after 1137) as his first wife, Guillaume d'Angoulââ¢me, who succeeded his father in 1140 as Guillaume VI "Taillefer" Comte d'Angoulââ¢me.¬â Duke Guillaume X & his first wife had three children:
a)¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â ELEONORE d'Aquitaine (Nieul-sur-Autize, Vendâ©e or Châ¢teau de Belin, Guyenne or Palais d·ÄôOmbriâ®re, Bordeaux 1122-Abbaye de Fontevrault 1 Apr 1204, bur Abbaye de Fontevrault).¬â The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names "Alienor Guilielmi filia comits Pictavorum et Aquitanie ducis" as wife of "regi Francie Ludovico"[599].¬â ·ÄúWillelmus·Ä¶dux Aquitanorum·Äù donated property to ·ÄúecclesiⶠB. Hilarii de Cella·Äù (La Celle, outside Poitiers) granted by ·ÄúGaufredus avus et Guillelmus pater mei·Äù by charter dated 3 Mar 1130, subscribed by ·ÄúWillielmi ducis Aquitanorum, Aenordis comitissâ¶, Alienordis filiⶠeorum, Wilelmi Aigres filii eorum·Äù[600].¬â She succeeded her father in 1137 as ELEONORE Dss d·ÄôAquitaine, Ctss de Poitou, Ctss de Saintonge, Angoâªmois, Limousin, Auvergne, Bordeaux et Agen.¬â She left France with her husband in Jun 1147 on the Second Crusade[601].¬â "Helienordis...Francorum regina et Aquitanorum ducissa" confirmed the privileges of Notre-Dame de Saintes, at the request of "Agnetis abbatisse", with the consent of ·ÄúLudovici regis Francorum et ducis Aquitanorum collateralis nostri et Aelith sororis nostre·Äù, by charter dated 1151[602].¬â She was crowned Queen Consort of England with her husband 19 Dec 1154 at Westminster Abbey.¬â She supported the revolt of her sons against their father in 1173, was captured and imprisoned in the châ¢teau de Chinon, later at Salisbury until 1179.¬â The Continuator of Florence of Worcester records the death "XII Kal Apr" [1204] of "regina Alienor" and her burial "ad Fontem Ebraldi"[603].¬â The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines records the burial of "uxor [regis Henrici] regina Alienordis" in the same abbey as her husband[604].¬â m firstly (Bordeaux, Cathedral of Saint-Andr⩬â 22 Jul 1137, annulled for reasons of consanguinity Châ¢teau de Beaugency 21 Mar 1152) as his first wife, LOUIS associate King of France, son of LOUIS VI "le Gros/le Batailleur" King of France & his wife Adâ©laâØde de Maurienne [Savoy] (1120-Paris, Palais Royal de la Citâ© 18/19 Sep 1180, bur Abbaye cistercienne de Notre-Dame-de-Barbeaux near Fontainebleau, transferred 1817 to l'â©glise de l'Abbaye royale de Saint-Denis).¬â He succeeded his father in 1137 as LOUIS VII "le Jeune/le Pieux" King of France.¬â He was crowned Duke of Aquitaine, in right of his first wife, 8 Aug 1137 at Bordeaux.¬â m secondly (Poitiers or Bordeaux Cathedral 18 May 1152) HENRI Duke of Normandy, Comte d'Anjou et du Maine, son of GEOFFROY "le Bel/Plantagenet" Comte d'Anjou et du Maine & his wife [Empress] Matilda [Maud] of England (Le Mans, Anjou 5 Mar 1133-Châ¢teau de Chinon 6 Jul 1189, bur Abbaye de Fontevrault).¬â He was recognised as HENRY II King of England after the death of Stephen 25 Oct 1154, he was crowned in Westminster Abbey 19 Dec 1154.¬â

c)¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â ¬â AELIS [Petronille] d'Aquitaine ([1125]-after 24 Oct 1151, bur St Arnould in Crâ©py).¬â The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines specifies that "Alienor Guilielmi filia comits Pictavorum et Aquitanie ducis" had two sisters one of whom married "Radulfus·Ä¶comes Perone et Veromandie", although he does not name them[606].¬â The HistoriⶠTornacenses record the wife of "Radulfem comitem" as "germanam Alienore regine Francorum" but also do not name her[607].¬â Robert of Torigny refers to the mother of the infant children of "Radulfus de Perrona comes Viromandorum" as "iuniore filia Willelmi ducis Aquitanorum" but he does not name her either[608].¬â The Chronique de Guillaume de Nangis names "Elâ©onore et Pâ©tronille" as the two daughters of "Guillaume comte de Poitou et prince d'Aquitaine", recording in 1142 that Pâ©tronille married "Raoul comte de Vermandois" after he repudiated his first wife[609].¬â "Helienordis...Francorum regina et Aquitanorum ducissa" confirmed the privileges of Notre-Dame de Saintes, at the request of "Agnetis abbatisse", with the consent of ·ÄúLudovici regis Francorum et ducis Aquitanorum collateralis nostri et Aelith sororis nostre·Äù, by charter dated 1151[610].¬â m (1142) as his second wife, RAOUL I "le Vaillant" Comte de Vermandois, son of HUGUES "le Maisnâ©" de France Comte de Vermandois & his wife Adelais Ctss de Vermandois, de Valois et de Crâ©py ([1094]-13 Oct 1152, bur Priory of Saint-Arnoul de Crâ©py).¬â
