LifeSketch: Simon was baptized in New Haven on March 28, 1647. He was among the first subscribers to the compact for the settlement of New Haven village (now Wallingford) in 1670 at which time he settled there. His house lot was No. 13 east side Main Street, with 8 acres of out land.cker (A revenue officer who inspects bulk goods subject to duty.) for the town of Wallingford, March 1708/9 and at several times afterward. Wallingford containing 1 1/2 acres, also other lands. On July 10, 1711 he gives to son, Timothy the land "I bought of Roger Tyler."
