In 1452 Acquired a further half in addition to the quarter share he already possessed.

Sir David Hay had by his wife two sons and a daughter. JOHN, the eldest son, was created a peer by solemn investiture in Parliament, by the title of LORD HAY OF YE5TER, 29th January, 1487-8.

Sir David Hay of Lochorwart and Yester married Lady Elizabeth Douglas, daughter of George Douglas, 1st Earl of Angus and Lady Mary Stewart, after 1423.[2]

He died before 2 September 1478.[4]

He was the son of Sir William Hay of Lochorwart and Yester and Alice de la Haye.[2],[3]

He lived at Yester, Haddington, Scotland.[1]

In 1452 he acquired a further half share of Yester in addition to his quarter share.[4]
