Obituary: Virginia ""Ginger"" Lee Nay Tali
Our Beloved Mother
1947 ~ 2004
Virginia Lee Tali, age 57, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 11, 2004 in Bountiful, Utah. After fighting ongoing illness for many years, our Heavenly Father finally released her from her mortal body and graciously returned her to Him. We find great comfort knowing that she is no longer limited by mortality.
Born on May 27, 1947 to Milo Leon Nay and Virga Gurr Nay. She married Tevita L. Tali on April 29, 1977; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on August 19, 1978.
Virginia grew up in Salina, Utah and graduated from North Sevier High School in 1965. She went on to attend N.F. Nunnelley State Technical College in Childersburg, Alabama where she earned her diploma in Business Education in 1974.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, drawing/painting, being outdoors, doing family history and most of all being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a member of the Postal Workers Union and the Professional Secretaries International (PSI), served many professions and was also a member of the LDS church and a secretary for the Family History Library in her stake.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents Milo Leon Nay and Virga Gurr Nay and her grandparents.
Survived by her husband Tevita "David"; two daughters Virginia Angelica "Nia" and Losaline Michelle "Losa" (Sione) Latu; two grandchildren Kisione Longani Moala and Faith 'Atelaite Moala; brothers Ellis Nay of Salina, UT and Kerry Nay of Burl, Utah.
Her family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Life Care Center of Bountiful for their dedication and loving care.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 9:00 a.m. at the Riverside 2nd Ward, 660 North Redwood Rd., where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Family Services will be held on Friday, June 18th from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Rd., West Jordan. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
