Beatrice of Hungary (1290-1343 or 1354) was the elder daughter of Charles Martel of Anjou and his wife Klementia of Habsburg. She was a member of the Capetian House of Anjou.
Beatrice's maternal grandparents were Rudolph I of Germany and his first wife, Gertrude of Hohenburg. Her paternal grandparents were Charles II of Naples and his wife, Maria Arpad of Hungary.
Beatrice was the second of three children. Her siblings were Charles I of Hungary and Clementia of Hungary. Charles claimed his father's succession wrights on Hungary and her sister, Clementia married Louis X of France and was mother of John I of France, the baby King.
In total, Beatrice had thirty five maternal cousins and at least forty two paternal cousins. This was due to her grandparents, maternal and paternal having many children.
When Beatrice was just six years old, in 1296, at Naples, she was married to John II of Viennois, who was ten years her senior. The couple had two sons:
Guigues VIII (1309 † 1333), dauphin of Viennois. Married to Isabella of France, Dauphine of Viennois
Humbert II (1312 † 1355), dauphin of Viennois. Married to Marie of Baux, niece of Robert, King of Naples by his sister Beatrice.
When her husband died in 1319, Beatrice became a nun at Cîteaux. She remained here until 1340, when she transferred to the Abbaye des Ayes. Her son founded for her the convent of Saint-Just dans le Royannais.
Beatrice died in 1343. She died in the convent which her sons had founded for her.
