Isabel Stanley was born circa 1460 at of Pipe, Staffordshire, England. She married Sir Hugh Peshall, son of Humphrey Peshall, in 1482 and had daughter Catherine Peshall b.c.1484.

Isabel married secondly John Russhe of the City of London and thirdly Sir Thomas Grey.

The Inquistion for John Grey, Viscount Lysle on 04 Apr 20 Henry VII [1505] noted that he had given an annuity of £20 to Thomas Grey, esquire, and Dame Isabel Persall, otherwise styled Isabel Persall, his wife.
