Regarding Thomas Shain b. 1792 md. Elizabeth Adams ..... This one had stumped me for a couple of years also. I have a Thomas Shain born 13 Dec 1792. I believe this is the same that md. Eliz. Adams but I can find no evidence. This Thomas born in 1792 is the son of John Shain (son of William...same father as my Abel) and Temperence West.
