Klaas Knol returned from Muskegon, Michigan in 1895 to marry Cornelia Busz.
They did not waste any time, because the papers were immediately prepared. On May 18, 1895, the municipality of Kantens dated the copy of Klaas's mother's death certificate. The municipality of 't Zandt issued a copy of his birth certificate and his father's death certificate on 22 May. The papers of Cornelia Busz from the municipality of Bierum were also issued on May 22nd and the certificate of the National Militia was dated on May 25th.
On May 27, 1895, Klaas Knol was registered again at the town hall of Kantens at Zandeweer D 105 as coming from North America. On 2 and 9 June, the promulgations of the marriage to be concluded in the municipality of 't Zandt followed on June 14, 1895.
