Obituary Copy Altoona Mirror April 7, 1952: Long Illness Is Fatal to Aged Resident - Mrs. Margaret (McGinley) Meinhart, 96, of 1105 Seventeenth street, died at her home at 8:30 o'clock yesterday morning after an extended illness. She was the widow of William F. Meinhart, who died in 1905. She was born in Glen White Oct. 27, 1855, a daughter of Michael and Sarah (Devinney) McGinley. Mrs. Meinhart was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Clair, Charles, Mrs. Mary Holland and Mrs. William Overcash, all of Altoona, Walter of Johnstown, William of Chester and Mrs. Mae M. Lawton of Pittsburgh; 43 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Two daughters and one son, Mrs. James Dalton, Mrs. George Pegrim and Edward, preceded her in death. Mrs. Meinhart reposes at the V. L. Stevens funeral home.
