Funeral services for John Neise, age 72, who died from a heart attack Saturday morning at his home north of Plainfield, were held, Tuesday afternoon at the Leon Hall mortuary in charge of the Rev. F. J. Beisel. Burial was in Maple Hill. Mr. Neise, who was born in Oldenburg, had been a farmer in this community for eighteen years. He was a member of the Methodist church. Besides the widow, Anna Neise, he is survived by four children, Mrs. Cortes of South Bend, Edgar Neise of Cleveland, Mrs. Emma Envrick and Henry Neise both of Indianapolis. John Niese, 72, Farmer, Stricken
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Leon Hall Funeral Home, for John Niese, age seventy-two years, husband of Anna Niese, who died suddenly of coronary occlusion, early Saturday morning at his home north of Plainfield at the Harry Hollingsworth farm.
Re. F. J. Beisel conducted the services. Mrs. Leon Hall sang, "I Shall Know Him", "Evening Prayer", and "Trust In Me." Burial was at Maple Hill cemetery.
Mr. Niese, who was born in Oldenburg, Indiana, came to live on the Hollingworth farm five years ago. He is survived by the widow, two sons, and one daughter. (Funereal Notice: The Plainfield Messenger, Plainfield, IN, July 22, 1937 pg. 1)
