Funeral services for Annie Ray Davis, 80, were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 1988, from the Pelahatchie Methodist Church. Rev. Ted Girdano, Rev. John Carter, and Rev. Barry Corbett officiated. Interment was made in the Pelahatchie Cemetery in Rankin County.
Mrs. Davis passed away on Sunday, October 9, 1988, in McComb, MS. A native of Pelahatchie she had previously lived in Hialeah, FL for twenty-seven years, and was a resident of Norco, LA for the past year. She was a member of the North Hialeah Methodist Church, Hialeah, FL.
Preceded in death by her husband, Carl G. Davis in 1954, survivors include, one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Mary Ann) Baker, Norco, LA, one son, Billy (Bill) Davis, Baton Rouge, LA, three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Van Cleave, Jackson, Mrs. Murrell McMahon, Natchez, Mrs. Frances Rodgers, McComb, one brother, Jack Ragan, Pelahatchie, and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Ray Ragan, Harmon Ragan, III, John Edwards, Billy Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Carl Ray.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton handled the arrangements.

Pelahatchie---- Services for Mrs. Annie Ragan Davis, 80, of Norco, LA, who died Oct. 2. 1988 in the home of her sister, Mrs. Frances Rodgers of McComb, who survives her, were 10 a.m. today in Pelahatchie Methodist Church with the Rev. John Carter officiating, assisted by the Rev. Barry Corbett and the Rev. Ted Girdano. Burial was in Pelahatchie Cemetery with Ott and Lee Funeral Home of Morton in charge of Pelahatchie arrangements. Catchings Funeral Home of McComb was in charge of local arrangements.
Born June 20, 1908, in Pelahatchie, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of Willard P. Ragan and Alma Williams Ragan. She was a former resident of Hialeah, Fla. for 27 years and was a member of North Hialeah Methodist Church.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Baker of Norco, a son, Bill Davis of Baton Rouge, two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Van Cleave of Jackson and Mrs Murrell McMahon of Natchez, a brother Jack Ragan of Pelahatchie, three grandchildren, and several Neice and nephews.
