Ik had dit huwelijk niet gevonden omdat de naam Maalwerf en Manuel volgens mij niet hetzelfde waren. Denk ik nu wel, te meer omdat het ook gespeld wordt als Malloir, Malhouers en dat klinkt wel als Manuel.
Ik had - omdat ik geen huwelijk had - wel een Johanna Huys gevonden, geboren in Amsterdam op 22 juli 1694 en een zus van haar Marike, geboren 21 juni 1697. Dat kan haar echter niet zijn, als ze met Aarnout Maalwerf getrouwd is.
Waarschijnlijk is na het overlijden van de vader van Jannitje haar moeder Annitje Pieters getrouwd met Matthijs Alexander:
