      Vroegere passagierslijsten waren manifesten van 1 pagina en legden minimale informatie van passagiers vast. Na verloop van tijd werden formulieren gestandaardiseerd en werden aanvullende vragen toegevoegd. Afhankelijk van het jaar kan de opgenomen informatie van een passagier naam, leeftijd, geslacht, beroep, bestemming en informatie over de plaats van vertrek, zoals vaderland, staatsburgerschap status, ras, nationaliteit, geboorteplaats of laatste woonplaats. In 1907 bevatten passagiersmanifesten 29 kolommen en waren deze twee pagina's breed met linker- en rechterkanten. Veel van de passagiersmanifesten bestonden uit twee pagina's en een veel voorkomend probleem voor genealogen was dan ook het missen van het bestaan van de tweede pagina, nadat de eerste wel was gevonden. MyHeritage heeft dit probleem nu voor het eerst opgelost door beide pagina's in één afbeelding vast te leggen om er zeker van te zijn dat er geen belangrijke informatie wordt gemist.

      Twee vragen die waren inbegrepen in het manifest vanaf 1907 waren: 1) naam en adres van een vriend of familielid in het land van oorsprong van de vreemdeling; en 2) Of iemand bij een familielid of vriend op bezoek ging, en zo ja, welke vriend of familielid en zijn volledige naam en adres. MyHeritage heeft de namen en relaties van personen waarnaar verwezen wordt in deze twee aanvullende vragen geïndexeerd, waardoor MyHeritage de enige plek is waar deze aanvullende namen doorzoekbaar zijn.

      Hendrik Vander Veur, age 85, returned to his Heavenly Father Saturday, May 26, 2007. Henry was born on March 28, 1922 in Utrecht, Netherlands. He was the third of four children of Frederik and Reinje (Reitsema) Vander Veur. In his youth he had a great love for soccer, baseball, speed skating and many other sports. He was an avid scouter with fond memories of the 1937 World Jamboree held in the Netherlands. In his late teens he met, courted and married the love of his life Anna Catherina Emo. Henry and Ann were married May 12, 1943, during the German occupation of Holland, World War II. They recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. In October 1948 they immigrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, with three small children. They ultimately had eleven children. They came to America to be sealed as an eternal family in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Henry was a barber starting at age 14. He cut hair for 71 years, even as recently as eight weeks ago. He had a great love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and served in many church callings including the Bishopric, President of the Temple View Stake Mission, High Priest Group Leader and as a Temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple. Henry and Ann returned to their homeland in 1986, serving 18 months as full-time missionaries. He enjoyed family and friends and had a great sense of humor. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit. He loved all sports, particularly the Utah Jazz and especially looked forward to his weekly fishing trips with his sons, family and friends.
      Henry was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Harry Vander Veur, and sisters Feikina DeJunker-Schipaanboord and Bargonda (Gonny) Dissel. He is survived by his loving wife Ann, their eleven children Frederik, Martin (Kathy), Reinje (Benj) Rains, Henry Jr. (Margia), John (Bonnie), Raymond (Mary), Grant (Linda), Alida (Lyle) Harbert...
