Aangenomen dat Grietje Pieters die werd gedoopt in Bakhuizen op 27 november 1730 de tweede vrouw is van Epke Rymers de Ree.Dit op grond van de naamgeving van haar kinderen, nl:de eerste tweekinderen worden nog vernoemd naar de eerste echtgenote van Epke Rymers de Ree; het derde kind wordt vernoemd naar haar schoonmoeder en het vierde kind naar haar eigen moeder nl. Tjeerdtje is Theodora.
Uit dit huwelijk de families Rypkema, te St.Nicolaasga, Polder te Oudemirdum en Exmorra, Hoekinga te Oudemirdum, Meiring te Wyckel, en Landman te Sloten
