In 1066 is Eustace een van de krijgers die verschijnen onder de Normandische veroveraars van Engeland, onder de naam Pinkeney. Hij zal worden beloond met land in de townships van Essex en Northampton, waar hij samen met zijn zoon Ansculf de Picquigny met name kloosters stichtte .

De aanwezigheid van zijn nakomelingen in Engeland wordt met name geregistreerd in Dudley Castle , in Moreton Pinkney .

In 1066 richtte hij de kerk van Saint-Martin de Picquigny op als collegiale kerk en voegde er een kapittel van acht kanunniken aan toe 4 . Jean is daar aartsleviet en Humbert, peer van Picquigny in de kerk van Saint-Martin of Saint-Jean-Baptiste 5 .

Hij is de eerste bekende vidame van Amiens , tot aan zijn dood (1066-1085).
