    Goos leerde Maatje den Boer kennen bij haar vader, die had een fietsenwinkel op Charlois. Hij was later koopman in hout en opperman. Hoewel ik het hele verhaal niet ken meende ik dat hij ook bij Boymans van Beunigen gewerkt heeft, van hem kreeg Goos de doopjurk van de familie die door vele nichtjes (ik zelf ook) gedragen heeft. Die trouwjurk is vermist geraakt na emigratie naar Australie van de dochters van Goos, er zijn kisten verloren gegaan.
    Zij gingen na het huwelijk op de Dorpsweg 89b wonen en kregen 3 kinderen.
    In datzelfde huis -etagewoningen- woonde ook de vader van Gozewijn; Jan Telleman als weduwnaar, hij bewoonde de bovenste etage. Op de eerste etage woonde eerst mijn moeder Lenie Telleman (zijn zus) met haar echtgenoot Gab Kroon (mijn vader), toen zij naar Vlissingen vertrokken ging een andere zus van Goos daar wonen; Gre Telleman met haar echtgenoot Leen Roos.
    Goos was de lieveling van de familie, iedereen kon het goed met hem vinden, ook tante Ma was een geliefde tante.

    Tante Ma zorgde in haar latere leven voor haar hoogbejaarde moeder, zij had het voornemen om na haar overlijden naar Australie te emigreren omdat inmiddels alledrie de kinderen daar woonden. Daar is het niet van gekomen omdat haar moeder haar overleefde en 103 jaar oud werd.
    Ik heb haar moeder als kind ontmoet, toen al een erg oude vrouw, ze bekeek me van top tot teen en zei vervolgens; van wie ben jij er dan eentje? Omdat mijn moeder daar erg om moest lachen heb ik dat kleine incident (en die moeder) onthouden.
