Harmen Douwes, huisman te Burgwerd, Sjouke Douwes, huisman te IJsbrechtum, en Willem Jans, mr. timmerman te Dronrijp, vertonen testamentaire dispositie van wijlen Simon Jans, huisman onder Tjerkwerd, van 7 juni 1752 waaruit blijkt dat zij tot curatoren resp. administratoren zijn benoemd over de kinderen van wijlen Symon Jans en zijn voorkinderen bij wijlen zijn eerste vrouw Rinske Douwes, t.w. Antje, Jacob, Lieuwe en Douwe Symons.
