in de volgende periode 1862-1891 gaat Hermen met vrouw Elizabeth achtereenvolgens wonen op de adressen St Agnietenstraat 1234, Achterweg F 178/171/127 en Zandwijk G107/114;
hier worden 4 kinderen geboren Jan Hendrik (1867), Willem Jan (1869), Johanna (1870) en Jan Willem; Willem Jan overlijdt echter na een half jaar;
ook Geertje Truggelaar (geb De Jongh) komt bij de familie inwonen.
