Gerrit verklaarde onder ede dat hij onbekend was met de laatste woonplaats en de plaats van overlijden van zijn grootouders.
Getuigen waren Bernardus Greve, oud 57 jaar, tapper, Lambertus Platvoet, oud 49 jaar, zadelmaker, Jannes Elferink, oud 21 jaar, zonder beroep en Antonij Leeman, oud 56 jaar, winkelier, allen wonende te Enschede.
De bruid en getuige Leeman verklaarden geen schrijven geleerd te hebben.
Gerrit noemt zich bij dit huwelijk Teutelink en tekent ook met die naam.
