Notes about Johannes "Jan" Montesaan (Laurents)

De tweede zoon van Laurens en Grietjen, Johannes Laurents Montesaan, die dus ook Jan werd genoemd net als zijn oudere broer, vertrok eveneens naar Vaassen, om daar met Pasen 1711 als lidmaat in de kerk te worden aangenomen (of gaat het hier om 1 van beide Jannen?). Ook hij was papiermaker: van 1715 tot 1726 als pachter op de Zandmolen I in Leuvenum bij Ermelo. In augustus 1726 vertrok hij voor korte tijd naar Amsterdam, maar in 1728 bij de geboorte van het zesde kind woonde hij in Vaassen. Daar was hij pachter van het Klundermolentje, tot 1749, waarna de molen niet meer werd gebruikt. (Al in 1719 deed hij een poging om deze molen te kopen, maar de koop werd later weer geannuleerd). Hij bleef papiermaker tot 1758, daarna stopte hij ermee.
In 1715 trouwde hij in Vaassen met Willemtje Gerrits; in 1716, nadat hun eerste kindje Geertje geboren werd (dat al jong overleed want later werd nog een dochtertje zo genoemd) verhuisden ze naar Leuvenum, waarschijnlijk om op de molen te gaan wonen. Ook Willemtje zelf overleed jong, ergens tussen 1718 (geboorte tweede kind, een zoon) en 1720, want in dat jaar trad Johannes in Kootwijk voor de tweede keer in het huwelijk met de papiermaakster Toenisjen (Theunisje) Breunis, dochter van Breunis Janssen en Janneken Willems. Uit dit tweede huwelijk werden 3 dochters en 5 zoons geboren; het eerste kind -een meisje- werd Willempje genoemd naar Johannes'eerste vrouw.
Van 5 van de 10 kinderen is bekend dat ze trouwden; van deze 5 kregen er 4 zelf kinderen.
In 1726 kwamen ze naar het Klundermolentje. In 1736 betaalden ze 100 gld pacht.
