"David What I have for Daniel Gross in just Shelby County. However, I know the majority of the family were in Jackson Twn for many many years. Around Jackson Center even. So, being in Michigan and not down there at this time. I would assume that he would be found on Census Records for Jackson Twn., Shelby Co. As far as his place of death I have Big Lake , Skagit Co., Washington. Perhaps that is where one of their children lived since he lived 16 years longer than Mary Ann. She passed away in Fairhaven, Whatcom Co., Washington. And I have a Cemetery for Mary Ann only Bayview Cemetery. Bellingham, Whatcom Co., Washington. Have no idea if Daniel is buried next to her or not. As to their faith , from their travel and where they were headed after leaving Ohio, I would hazard a guess as to Mormon. Mormons went on the cart trail and lost members as did Daniel and Mary Ann lost a son. And the time frame would go along with Joseph Smith's murder and Brigham Young declaring himself leader of a large portion of the membership who followed him westward. Utah, Idaho and Washington are large Mormon states. Do you want the spouses of the other children that made it to adulthood ? Emma Louis Gross their first born married Walter W Kinsey Catherine (Kate) married Stanley L. Jones Johannes Adam Heinrich Gross died along the trail Mary Anna married a Mr. Berry Salome Magdalena Gross died at the age of 11 months in Shelby Co., Ohio and may be buried in Graceland Cemetery there. Have a lot of family in that cemetery Vester married Clara M. Schemeilling Elton married Annie B. Stokes Lawrence Edward married Fern K Marsh Edna Lovena Gross married Andrew Linneville As far as Amelia Matilda Gross I just have 1 child for she and George Brees. I have him buried in Union Cemetery, Sedro-Wooley, Skagit Co., Washington and Amelia I ASSUME is next to him. I will open your gedcom now and see what you sent me. I am sorry I can't be of additional help to you on this yet. But I don't stop looking" <>
