Christen Christensen var først ejer af en gård i Øster Herborg med htk.2-7-1-1.Den blev imidlertid udstykket, og Christen Jensen, Opsund, fikd. 13 marts 1797 auktionsskøde på hovedparcellen, htk. 1-2-1-2 4/5, for575 rdl., efter gården på begæring af Christen Christensen Siig(Mulbjergsig) var sat på auktion. Iøvrigt havde han ifølge J. Abildtrupsbog om Vorgod sogn købt gården 1779 af Willum Nyboe for 360 rdl.
Han opretter d. 14 september 1795 købekontrakt med Giøde Lauritsen afMolsiggaard i Hover sogn, hvorefter han køber dennes gård, htk. 3-3-0-1for 627 rdl. Og ved skøde af d. 17 november 1800 fra Anders Hansen, Nr.Muldbjerg erhverver han ydeligere en parcel, kaldet Møgelbjerg og en engBæk Eng, htk. 0-6-0-1 for 196 rdl.
