De koppeling met een Abel John Munneke, overleden 1892 komt uit www.findagrave.com. Zeker is dat Elizabeth voor 1900 met een Munneke getrouwd was, welke Munneke is niet zeker.

Elizabeth (Lizzie Munneke) woonde in 1900 met zoon John en dochter Mabel Munneke bij haar ouders: South Pass Precinct Firth village, Lancaster, Nebraska. Hier staat dat ze 13 jaar getrouwd is. Haar man staat er niet bij vermeld. In de Census 1910 staat ze als weduwe met beide kinderen vermeld op het adres Oakland Ward 7, Alameda, California, United States als roomer bij de familie Anderson.
De broer van Abel John, Menno Munneke (tr 19-10-1886 Lzzie Vanderwick, 20 jr oud) is eventueel een optie, maar dan klopt de vermelding weduwe in 1910 niet, aangezien Menno overleden is in 1911.

Vreemd genoeg is volgens de US Census 1920 en 1930 Elizabeth Munneke getrouwd met een Abel Mainneky/Munneke, wonend in Analy, California. Deze Abel is even oud als de in 1892 overleden Abel. Volgens de Census van 1930 zijn ze echter getrouwd rond 1915. Bij Elizabeth staat dat zij voor de 1e keer gehuwd was op 20-jarige leeftijd, hetgeen weer overeenkomt met het huwelijk dat ik geraamd heb. Ik heb in de US Census tussen 1880 en 1920 geen enkele Abel Munneke gevonden. Het is niet duidelijk of er nu 1 of 2 Abel John Munneke's van dezelfde leeftijd waren of dat er een andere fout is gemaakt. De koppeling met zijn voorouders en nakomelingen die in dit bestand is gemaakt is dus niet 100% zeker.
