JD, Ray, and Elmer & AliceJohnston lived at family farmhouse of Kinsers from 1930 untilabout 1935, when they moved to Friendsville. Alice m at age 17and moved into parents' home. Elmer worked for railroad andthen became supervisor at Reynold's Alum, from where he got jobfor Fred and Louie Marshall.
