Possible. La filiation avec sa mère reste à vérifier : Dominique Barthélémy, contrairement à R. de Saint-Venant, pense que Bouchard est le fils de Richilde de Lavardin (car il serait cousin de Jean de Laval) et que le mariage de son père Jean I avec Berthe du Puy du Fou est apocryphe.
