Volgens Piet Hein Visser (geb. 29 januari 1921) was Piet Hein Visser (geb. 14 februari 1886) een hele gezellige man, kletste veel en kwam overal. Was nooit ziek en iedereen zei: "Jij wordt 100 jaar". Bij het bevolkingsonderzoek (was toen 73) ontdekten ze een bobbel in zijn borst (aneurisma - zwakke plek slagader). Hij was te oud om te opereren.
Werkte bij de Spoorwegen. Ging veel fietsen - fiets op de trein en dan ergens in Nederland een tocht maken, antiekwinkeltjes kijken, etc. Is op 74 jarige leeftijd plots overleden - in stoel, pijp nog in de hand.
