In 1736 vertrok het gezin van Oisterwijk naar Hilvarenbeek. Op 12 maart 1762 treffen we hen te
Moergestel aan

Bij de verdeling van de nalatenschap van Aert Cuijpers en Maria de Ridder, de schoonouders van Jan
Ketelaars, verwierf hij 3 hout hei te Besoijen over de oude straat. Zijn broer Hermen, die met Adriaentje
Cuijpers getrouwd was (zie IV -3) kreeg 1 lopensaat akkerland te Berkel en 1 lopensaat akkerland te
Drunen. In 1747 werden nogmaals goederen verdeeld, terwijl Cornelis van de Pol, weduwnaar van Maria
Cuijpers, in ruil voor een jaarlijkse uitkering afstand deed van de tocht. In 1750 verkochten de kinderen
van Aert Cuijpers 3 lopensaat akkerland te Udenhout omtrent de Kruijsstraat.
Op 11 november 1771 maakten Jan Ketelaars en Johanna Kuijpers hun testament. Hierin werd hun zoon
Johannis geprelegateerd "en sulks uijt consideratie van sijnen swakken toestand des lighaams".
Jan Ketelaars werd te Moergestel begraven op 31 augustus 1776.
Op 28 september 1776 werd zijn nalatenschap onder de kinderen verdeeld.
